Litographs by Peter Dahl
Before the DN Galan’s 30th anniversary in 1996, Peter Dahl made a series consisting of 3 lithographies. Inspired by the 30 years with DN Galan, they are called “The moments of Triumph”. They represent the 3 basic moments in track and field – running, jumping and throwing, but they also symbolize the 3 world records at DN Galan, set by Swedes: Ricky Bruch, discus throw, 68.40, 1972; Anders Gärderud, 3000 m steeple chase, 8.09.8, 1975; Patrick Sjöberg, high jump, 2.42, 1987.
Said by Peter Dahl about track and field:
"One of the main things why I like track and field is that you compete against yourself. In the beginning of the 50’s, I enjoyed high jumping with my classmate Benke Nilsson, who was highly admired. I was probably just as happy when I jumped 1.65, as Benke was when he jumped over 2.11."

Price:
SEK 3 250:- for a singel sheet. SEK 7 950:- for all three sheets

Sculptures by Eino
In one of the vaults of Stockholm Stadium you can see the busts of the Olympic champions Anders Gärderud, Mälarhöjden and Ludmila Engquist, IFK Lidingö. They were made for DN Galan 2000 and 2001 by the artist Eino, born in Finland and now living in the US. DN Galan then donated the busts to Stockholm Olympic Stadium. As of today there are 14 pedestals in the vault, prepared by Stadium's architect Torben Grut for sculptures. His plans were not fulfilled then, in 1912, but maybe some day the Stadium will be complete…
