23.08.2012 - On Friday 17 August, the Stockholm Stadium Clubs arranged the 46th DN Galan as part of the Samsung Diamond League. The event went smoothly despite organizational challenges in the run-up to the meet with a number of key personnel leaving the organization creating difficult pre-conditions.

06.12.2012 - DN Galan will include 16 Diamond League events next year and one of them is 110 m hurdles which was one of the most spectacular events in Diamond League last summer.

DN Galan Diamond League, held at the historical Stockholm Olympic Stadium, is a leading track and field meeting and the largest annual sporting event in Sweden.

DN Galan offers a unique blend of traditional athletics in a small historic arena and a futuristic sports show with a mix of music, sound effects and the latest technology. The result is an atmosphere which has made the meet well known and highly respected all over the world. 83 world records have been set here so until 2012 – far more than at any other arena in the world.

Men: 200 m, 400 m, 1500 m, 3000 m Steeplechase, 110 m hurdles, Long Jump and Discus. 
Women: 100 m, 800 m, 3000/5000 m, 400 m hurdles, High Jump, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Javelin. 
Extra events: Women 400 m and Long Jump.
