22.06.2010 - Very exciting javelin competition

The world’s greatest javelin thrower, Andreas Thorkildsen, will be one of the contenders at DN Galan, Stockholm on August 6th. The double Olympic Champion and current World Champion is a well known profile in Stockholm and he was also the winner at DN Galan last year.

This year he will face the Finnish javelin giant Tero Pitkämäki, who is doing his debut at DN Galan. The Nordic stars have for a long time dominated the international javelin scene and also been facing each other at many of this year’s Diamond League meetings. more

19.05.2010 - Tyson Gay at DN Galan!

American Sprinter and DN Galan profile Tyson Gay is confirmed for the Samsung Diamond League DN Galan, Stockholm on August 6th. Gay is in superb shape.

Last Sunday he broke the 200m straight record at 19.41. The world-class champ is one of Samsung Diamond Leagues ambassadors. In Stockholm he will be challenged by yet another great Diamond League ambassador, Jamaican Asafa Powell.

01.12.2009 - Tickets released for DN Galan 2010!

The tickets for DN Galan 2010 are released on the December 1st. This unordinary athletic show is now one part of the Samsung Diamond League together with the most qualified meetings in the world.

The president of the Stadium Clubs (Organiser of DN Galan) Jan Kowalski hopes that all sports lovers will experience the meeting at the famous Olympic Stadium at the 6th of August next year.
