The disciplines for DN Galan Samsung Diamond League Friday 17 August are now confirmed…

Diamond Race
Men: 100m, 800m, 3/5000m, 400mH, Triple Jump, Javelin and Shot Put
Women: 200m, 400m, 1500m, 3000mSC, 100mH, High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump and Discus

Additional disciplines will be announced later.

09.11.2011 - DN Galan is now on Google+

On Monday the 8th of november 2011 Google+ Pages were launched, which is intended for businesses, organisations etc. DN Galan that of tradition always is one step ahead were quick to create a page on Google+, and became the first Diamond League meet to appear on Google+.

The account was created just one day after Google+ Pages were launched. more

Universal Sports, the USA based sport channel, recently published its list of the world’s leading sporting events during 2010. With both the Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Football World Cup in South Africa taking place the competition was tough.

However, according to Universal Sports Channel analysis, the 100m race at DN Galan on the 6 of August was the “Top Performance of 2010”. more

The women’s long jump at DN Galan Friday, August 6 at Stockholm Olympic Stadium looks like a revenge meeting between European Champion Ineta Radevica, Latvia and Naide Gomes, Portugal.
